MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
HOW MY MENTORSHIP PROGRAM BEGAN:
From the very beginning of my professional career I have always been passionate about being of service to the next generation of artists. I find there to be very few things more important than taking any success I have experienced and immediately making it larger than me and using my platform and my connections to help others succeed.
It began by giving back to the spaces that made me the artist I am. I grew up dancing at my beautiful mothers dance studio and I would go back and teach masterclasses and privates. I would return to North Carolina School of the Arts where I attended high school and work with the Dance and Drama departments helping in every way I can prepare talented young artists for success. I still feel at the beginning of all I set out to do in my own career, but from that position I find it a unique place to be able to help because I am also actively in the industry and auditioning and building my own career so I am reporting live and offering advice and guidance in real time.

When the pandemic hit and we were all confined to our homes - my mentorship program as I now know it was born. A huge silver lining in a devastating time. I have worked with over 30 artists ranging in age from 16-mid 40's, I have helped many artists transition from the student mentality of high school or college to the professional mindset. I have helped many sign with their first agencies, get their first jobs, navigate moving to NYC, connected them with choreographers and casting directors. And it has all been truly one of the greatest joys of my life.
WHAT I HAVE TO OFFER:
My offerings for Summer 2025 include one on one mentorship that works on a monthly cycle system for pre-professional and advanced artists seeking to deepen their craft. There is an immense focus on authenticity and taking agency over oneself as an artist and how we can release trying to fit a mold, and focus on building our unique selves to stand strong and to be able to walk in spaces and present ourselves genuinely and openly. Each month I am able to work with 5-7 artists on a unique schedule to each person. Some choose to meet every week, some every other week. Session lengths vary dependent on needs. Every month the current artists have the opportunity to continue into the next, if any available spots remain then we are able to welcome new artists into the program. Beginning Sept 2025 all 7 spots are open as we begin a new year. There is also a Slack group that gives access to me between sessions while we are working together and also allows for further community building with other artists in previous and current session.

Most sessions take place on zoom but there is also the opportunity to work in person in Los Angeles, New York and London throughout the year.

Sessions range from 30 to 60 minutes and can have a focus in:

AUDITION COACHING
BROADWAY CHOREOGRAPHY & REP
DANCE REEL CHOREOGRAPHY AND CREATION
ACTING/SELF TAPE STUDY
ACTING THROUGH SONG
ARTISTIC EXPANSION
AGENT AND MANAGER APPROACH AND PITCH BUILDING
CAREER PLANNING
MATERIAL REVIEW AND OVERHAUL
AUTHENTICITY REINFORCMENT
ARTISTIC BALANCE
COLLEGE PREP
FROM STUDENT TO PROFESSIONAL
& MORE

What I find most beneficial and beautiful about private mentorship is the ability to create a program that is unique to the artist and that can truly move at a singular pace. We always begin with a session to meet and discuss goals and desires and how I can be of the most help and assistance. I often refer artists to friends and colleagues for additional coaching and if I dont have the answer or if I can not provide something I am so lucky to have a strong network of professionals who will be able to and I see it as the first steps in building community within the industry.
